Creative Movement
Ages 3-4
Students learn that music can inspire movement – movement of the arm, the leg, the foot and the head. Put it all together and you’ve got a dance. Basic ballet terms and positions are taught throughout the semester which are utilized as a guide to express themselves, just like real ballerinas do!

Pre-ballet I
Ages 4-5
As the students mature and their coordination develops, additional ballet terms and technique are brought into the class curriculum. Students continue to let their imagination and creativity lead them to express themselves through dance.
Fall Session:
September 8th - December 15th
Wednesdays at 3:30 - 4:15pm
Wednesdays at 4:15pm - 5pm

Pre-ballet II
Ages 5-6
Students begin to understand the various elements of music that effect dance. They count beats and work with different tempos to put together more sophisticated sequences of movements. Students put their creativity to use as they choreograph their own dances, imagining how a swan might move in Swan Lake or how a nymph might move in Giselle.
